Winter shows

Rosy-Cheeked-Snowman-Tutorial-1It’s going to be an eventful Fall/Winter here in the Fundamentalist camp.

As you may have heard (is this thing on?) our new CD is coming out on November 6th. In fact, I recently heard myself on live radio for the first time, when KBCS played one of the tracks from the new CD. Even better, my track was right before one of my guitar heroes. So… there’s that.

Secondly, our performance calendar is quite busy, as we’re adding a handful of new venues to the schedule:

  • Thu. 11-05-15 – Vito’s Restaurant & Lounge, 9pm
  • Tue. 11-17-15 – Seamonster Lounge, 8pm
  • Fri. 12-11-15 – Zero-G at The Chapel : A Celebration of Charles Mingus, 7pm
  • Sun. 12-13-15 – Capitol Cider, 5:30pm
  • Thu. 01-07-16 – Vito’s Restaurant & Lounge, 9pm
  • Wed. 02-10-16 – The Royal Room, 7pm
  • Thu. 03-03-16 – Vito’s Restaurant & Lounge, 9pm

Lastly, in January we’ll be recording a live performance to be aired on the Sonarchy Radio program on KEXP. This is the same program where we recorded two tracks that ended up on our “Red” CD. This time around, we’re hoping to release the whole performance as a live “in studio” album.

We hope to see your rosy cheeks at one of the live shows. Introduce yourself between sets and your drink is on me!

Shhhh! Be very very quiet!

Elmer_fudd-2I’m going to be traveling a lot this month, and while I’m out of town our new CD, “Green”, is going to be released. I’m not supposed to post any sound files until November 1st… but by then I’m going to be somewhere that I don’t have internet or even mobile phone access.

So i’m going to go ahead and update this website now. You’ll find the new CD on the “Music” page. If you click through, you can buy a digital download right now on Bandcamp, and within a few days on CDBaby. Lets just call this a pre-release, shall we?

You’ll be able to order physical copies soon, and they’ll ship out mid-November. Throughout November, the release will trickle out to iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and the internets in general.

Enjoy!
